WEBFeb 9, 2022 · Black and White: pros. As stated earlier, JoJo is a black and white manga first. Araki makes the manga in black and white. And all of the illustrations, bar some special colored pages by himself, are imagined to be viewed in black and white. You really can't explain how beautiful his art looks when read this way.

WEBThe colored version is fine even if there are slight problems and even if it technically isn't canon. Readability is important and if you prefer them its fine. But once you get a physical copy of Jojo it becomes clear that the black and white manga is actually better.

WEBAug 28, 2020 · As someone who normally prefers to read manga in black and white, I actually recommend to read Jojo in colour. The coloured team did a really amazing job and it looks absolutely beautiful and just pushes Araki's art up a level.
