It is walkable but a hot and not that scenic walk on the road. You can make a shorter and scenic 15 minute walk along the shoreline north and get to Holoholokai Beach Park. The petroglyph trail is off the parking lot on the left, past the restrooms. You can have the Fairmont shuttle take you and they probably will come get you if you call.
