The Atlanta Falcons had plenty of opportunities to beat Kansas City but miscues and trouble converting on third down helped the Chiefs hold on for a narrow 22-17 victory.

The Kansas City Chiefs are one of the NFL's four 3-0 teams, but it was difficult to tell in their locker room after Sunday night's 22-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Patrick Mahomes in particular sounded a little like the Chiefs had lost.

With less than a minute on the clock, the Falcons had the ball in the red zone, trailing by five. On fourth-and-inches, Kirk Cousins's lack of mobility was put on display, as the team opted to hand the ball to Bijan Robinson on the outside rather than tuck it in and try to rush it up the gut.
