CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) — A Stone Memorial High School teacher was arrested after threatening a student with a knife. Thursday, November 14, 2024, a student told their School Resource Officer (SRO) that James Green had threatened a student the previous day.

A Cumberland County educator is facing a felony charge after he was accused of threatening students in a high school classroom earlier this week. Court documents state James Edward Greene, 56, is set to appear in court in December for a reckless endangerment charge.

Fourteen students were in the classroom when the incident occurred, according to the Crossville Police Department.
