Ohio State vs Northwestern: Why are Buckeyes football playing at Wrigley Field?
The game against Northwestern will be the first time Ohio State plays at Wrigley, and the sixth different MLB ballpark the Buckeyes have played in. Other MLB venues the Buckeyes have appeared in are Cleveland Municipal Stadium, Jack Murphy Stadium, Anaheim Stadium and the Polo Grounds.

Ohio State is headed to Illinois to face Northwestern, but this time, it won’t be in Evanston. The No. 2 Buckeyes (8-1, 5-1 Big Ten) will face off against the Northwestern Wildcats (4-5, 2-4 Big Ten) noon Saturday at Wrigley Field.
