Netflix’s NFL debut broke the record for a U.S. streaming audience for an NFL game, as an average of more than 24 million domestic viewers tuned in to the Kansas City Chiefs’ win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens’ win over the Houston Texans on Christmas Day.

The two NFL games streamed Christmas Day on Netflix received about 24 million viewers each, the company said. The streaming platform showcased the Kansas City Chiefs versus Pittsburgh Steelers, with a prerecorded Mariah Carey song airing ahead of the game,

Viewership peaked with the Beyoncé Bowl halftime show, with over 27 million viewers, and a total of nearly 65 million US viewers, according to Nielsen.
