Lawyers in Britain representing dozens of women say that Mohamed Al Fayed — the former boss of Harrods — was a “monster” who raped and sexually abused young women throughout his time at the helm of the world-renowned London department store.

Al Fayed's pursuit for capital began on the streets of Alexandria, Egypt, where he sold fizzy drinks to passers-by. He made a breakthrough when he met his first wife, Samira Khashoggi, who was the sister of a millionaire Saudi arms dealer that helped him create new connections and go into shipping to expand his empire.

Mohamed Al Fayed is alleged to be a serial sexual predator. His sexual abuse, which has been under the spotlight for years, was not confined to his time as chairman of the luxury department store Harrods, according to lawyers for women who claim he assaulted them.
