A video from Chennai's Kalaignar Centenary Hospital shows a man throwing away the knife he used to stab Dr. Balaji, who was attacked over a treatment dispute.

Dr Balaji is currently receiving treatment for his injuries, while Vignesh, the attacker, a resident of Chennai, has been arrested by police.

According to the police, Vignesh allegedly drew a kitchen knife and attacked Dr Jagannath, stabbing him in the neck and also inflicting injuries to his head and upper body. Onlookers quickly intervened and escorted the doctor to the ICU, where he remains in critical condition.
