The Chicago Sky missed the WNBA playoffs for the first time since 2018, ending a five-year run that included the franchise’s first title. Now the focus shifts to 2025.

The Sky still had a shot to make the postseason down the stretch, though, but they ultimately fell short. Now, Reese and company will take a few months off from basketball, and based on a six-word message she shared on social media, it seems like the talented center is excited for the offseason.

So much so that some fans believe that Cardoso is an even better player than Reese.

The Chicago Sky forward says on social media that she has a season-ending injury, which the team confirmed was to her wrist.
