A class-action lawsuit in Kathy Bates' Matlock 2024 is almost here in the upcoming episode. The CBS drama centers around Bates' titular character, Madeline "Matty" Matlock, a resilient 74-year-old lawyer,

"The privilege of being listened to is very real. And that’s why we want to put more and more examples on the screen to say, ‘This is not okay,'" says Jennie Snyder Urman of centering an episode around sexual harassment and generational bias.
